Lots happened today (Friday, June 23, 2023):
1. I woke up and had a wish list of things I wanted to do today, which were to visit the Velma Teague Library located in downtown Glendale and look at their book sale. I did. I went with Ale because we had to get all the three water gallons before my Da came home. I would have rather gone alone because Ale doesn't always want to go to the library. I just feel better going alone because I am the only person in my family who actually likes going to libraries. They only had one book that I knew of, which was something called Key by Tatiana de Rosnay. I didn't like it enough to get it.
2. Then we went to Watermill to get all the waters.
3. We came back home to make Da's after work lunch (AWL), which was [I say that a lot, huh? lolz] four scrambled eggs with half of a tomato and rice with two corn tortillas.
4. We went to the Neighborhood Walmart to get the groceries we needed. I reapplied my sunscreen before this. We got the Book Club movie popcorn since we were already there.
5. After we came back we put away the stuff and I went over to the Foothills Library to look at their book sale because I am trying to use my free book coupon that I won from the Summer Reading Game. I found The Manhattan Girls by Gill Paul, which was in my Goodreads "to-read" shelf since April 18, 2022, so that was very fortunate. I also borrowed a book from that branch called Solitaire by Alice Oseman. I first heard of this author on AudioFileMagazine.com with her Loveless featured audiobook selection. I love that book summary too! I was like might as well borrow that book while I am there because that book is in my wish list on the Glendale Public Library System Catalog website.
6. Since I was so close to it, I went to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for a small iced americano, just like how Chris D'Elia likes it. XDDD It was quite strong, but I did like it.
7. So at this point I have officially been to all of the Glendale Public Library Branches! There are only four! XDDDD So sad cuz Phoenix has like seventeen! :O So some time ago I went to the Main Library and saw a book that I did not get to finish, but thought that I should buy it because it was only $1!! And I love that price!! It's called Bright Lights, Big City by Jay McInerney. There is a movie adaption, so that's interesting.
8. Then I finally went back home!
So, yeah. That was my day today! Pretty fun!
