Me

i know i might come off as a hipster, but i never wanted to be like anyone else. never wanted to be like my friends or conform. I wanted to b my own person. in a word, unique. That's why i listen to weird music. My goal is to be okay with being called weird and being proud to admit that I am not like anyone else that there is only one me and the only one. one of a kind to say. I am flexible in what music i listen to because i don't want to tie down to just one time period. Wouldn't it be boring to be stuck in one place that had the same beat that played all the time. For example, the music that plays on the radio. All the trendy songs have similar beats, they're not the same just sound a like. I just want to understand what other people listened to in different time periods when music could be recorded depending on the century.

Summer of Cultural Opportunity 2016

This is my blog for my high school's Summer of Culture, 2016! My English teacher invited my class to participate in their first ever Summer of Cultural Opportunity. I want to stay active as a student and a global citizen by finding something that interests me, sparks my imagination, or leads me to fresh understanding or new possibility.

This post is from a Google Keep note I found while sorting through my Google Keep notes.
