How I Discovered Young The Giant

I think when I was 15 I begged for an iPod touch. I got the fourth generation version. I was on it all the time in the Summer. I was curious about rock music and that’s when I stumbled upon Young The Giant on a music website. The first song that I heard from them was Apartment and I started to play it on repeat because it is so good! After hearing Apartment on repeat I started researching the band members and their past, which I found out was that they were called The Jakes before YTG. I heard all of their very early tracks and I was in love with almost every song they did. I watched a lot of their live concerts online and even did music videos to their songs that were so silly. I’ve listened to their entire discography. I covered their songs on my YouTube channel. I downloaded their Mind Over Matter album and got the CD. Then I went to their concert on February 12, 2014, which I blogged about before. Unfortunately, I don’t currently listen to them often because I got into different people and different genres of music. But I am listening to YTG right now while I write about them. I like to listen to them when I need to calm down like when doing homework. Young The Giant will always have a special place in my heart because they got me into rock. I love them! Always will! My mom likes their music too, which is surprising to me because she doesn’t like ANYTHING i do… Young The Giant reminds me so much of my youth! I wanted to add that YTG is so relaxing to listen to, as I listen to their discography right now.

Undertale 3

In my last blog post I said I would talk about my thoughts after watching Jack’s Genocide run of Undertale and here I am. I think I finished yesterday because I just came back from Mexico and I was so tired I just couldn’t finish it. I think I finished the last video either late at night or early in the morning. I also finished drawing my fan art of Frisk and you can see it on my DeviantArt page. I think Frisk is so darn cute! Anyways, I am listening to the OST yet again when writing about the game. I thought it was very cold. It had less crying because it was about killing all of our favorite characters. I liked the first version of the game better because I got to know the characters more and hang out with Jack more. He makes me so happy! 

Undertale 2

So I just finished watching the passivist ending of Undertale on Jack’s channel and I loved it! It made me cry twice. I cried when Jack was fighting Flowey and all his friends helped him. That was so heartwarming to me. I also cried at the end when Toriel came into Frisk’s room when she was sleeping and Toriel put a butterscotch pie on the floor for her. That was so adorable. I love their relationship. I ship Undyne and Alphys hard, like Jack. They are so cute! It’s such a shame that we didn’t get to see them finally kiss at the end because of Jack’s facecam, but I guess that’s okay because we almost saw them kiss earlier in the game. I am literally Alphys ;p I am currently listening to the Undertale Official Soundtrack and as I said before: I am in love! I think the music is so phenomenal and emotional. I mean some of the music makes me want to cry and I didn’t even watch the whole video before. Before I didn’t watch the whole episode because I was trying to watch all of Jack’s videos he uploaded in 2015 and I skipped to the end to hear his “high fives all around.” But I remember hearing a piece of music I liked in the ending of a video and I searched the Undertale soundtrack, then I listened to the entire album and fell in love with the music. After that I started watching the Undertale playlist and I liked it. It was so cute! Frisk looks like a small doll I would have played with as a child. It reminds me of Polly Pockets or small tiny dolls I used to play with. It reminded me of my childhood. But the music got me good, though. I think the story is amazing. It has lovable characters like Sans, Papyrus, Toriel, Undyne, Alphys. I was a bit confused on the whole family thing with Frisk and Asriel, but I think I knew what was going on. I love that I went on this Undertale journey with Jack. He is a really cool guy. I love his personality. I love how he doesn’t hide that he cried in the video because it was emotional. Now I understand why this series is loved by so many. Undertale is an experience. An experience that is unforgettable. Now that I watched the entire series I know where some of the songs on the OST are from, so fun! Before I didn’t know. Papyrus’ theme song reminds me of a jewish song. Undertale

So I have been binge watching JackSepticEye videos the Summer of 2018 and I love him SO much! I was listening to the soundtrack to one of his beloved series called Undertale and I am in love with the music! It has such a sad, nostalgic vibe to it though. Just listening to the music makes me want to cry because that series ended and it was so close to people's hearts. Although I haven't watched the entire series due to internet problems, I am going to watch the entire playlist when I have good internet and enough time. Also, there is this song on the soundtrack called Undertale (lol) and this makes me want to do a Jackaboy tribute or montage to that music because it's so emotional, but only after I watch the series. I love it so much! By the way, I am typing this on my phone at 11:38 PM and my thumbs are cramping a bit. It was raining and I saw a lot of lightning! Such a good day! Always. 😊 Also, my pulse is going fast. Probably because of that sugar from the ice pop. There are 100, I shouldn't have got it. Shit!
